What is Meditation? 

Meditation is a technique where one uses mindfulness or other techniques to become aware of their thought to help clear the mind of anything negative or hurtful. 

How does meditation help anxiety? 

  • Reduces anxious thoughts 

  • Focus on breathe 

  • Brings out a relaxation response 

What is mindfulness? 

  • We are aware of each movement that is happening around us. We are aware of our thoughts, feelings and surrounding environment by using our 5 senses.

Example 

When you mindfully eat, you would talk your time to enjoy your meal and be able to use your senses to feel the texture of the food, smell the different aromas of each bite you take and taste all the different flavors in our mouth when we take each bite, We are also able to we aware of the surroundings that we are in.
